Intervention May Be Needed at Calving (*PDF 8 KB) -Before the spring calving season commences, now is the time to put together and post a protocol for family members and hired employees to follow when they find a cow or heifer starting in the process of calving.

Fetal Programming Impacts Calf (*PDF 8 KB) - Research has shown that inadequate nutrition in the last two-thirds of gestation can decrease muscling and marbling potential.

Final Pesticide Training Session for Area Applicators (*PDF 8 KB) -Private pesticide applicators with licenses expiring in 2015 or those seeking first-time certification can still attend a couple of local training sessions offered in March.

Land Lease Workshop Scheduled for Albion (*PDF 11 KB) - A Landlord/Tenant Cash Lease Workshop will be presented Tuesday, March 10th from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
